THAI Celebrates 45 Years of Flights to London with Gourmet Odyssey: Flights of Fancy

H.E. Mr. Pisanu Suvanajata (5th from left), Ambassador of Thailand to the United Kingdom, graciously attended Gourmet Odyssey: Flights of Fancy that was organized by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) and the London Restaurant Festival to celebrate 45 years of THAI flights on the route Bangkok-London.  He was welcomed by Mr. Jesada Chandrema (3rd from left), THAI Director, Europe Department, Mr. Simon Davis (6th from left), Founder and Managing Partner, London Restaurant Festival, and Ms. Nonthakorn Trakulpa (7th from left), THAI General Manager, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Over 150 guests attended the event, those being Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold card members as well as business partners.  Guests traveled on THAI branded buses to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, main courses, and desserts at three different restaurants that represented THAI’s most popular routes with visits to Laos Café representing Southeast Asia, Chisou from Japan, and Scarlett Green from the Australasia region, symbolic of travel with THAI from London to destinations in these regions.
