Terms and conditions

• 1. Exclusively for Mastercard cardholders who are residents of Thailand (residing in Thailand for a period or periods aggregating more than 180 days within a year), spend via www.thaiairways.com.
  2. The top four spenders need to have the highest cumulative spending throughout the campaign from all types of Mastercard cards under the same primary cardholder’s name and surname.
  3. The prize is an all-expense-paid trip to watch The 148th Open, consisting of
   - A pair of round-trip air tickets in Royal Silk Class by Thai Airways (surcharges and taxes included) from Bangkok to London
   - A pair of round-trip Business Class tickets by British Airways (or equivalent) from London to Belfast
   - Accommodation for 5 days 4 nights in Belfast; from 19 - 23 July 2019 (room-sharing)

  5. In the case that more than one cardholder have the same spending amount, Thai Airways International (“THAI”) reserves the rights to award the cardholder who has reached that spending amount first.
  6. The tickets (Hospitality Passes) to The Open are courtesy of Mastercard, the Official Sponsor of the The 148th Open.
  7. The tickets cannot be changed, upgraded or exchanged to money or other prizes, given or sold to other persons.
  8. The tickets cannot be used to earn mileage.
  9. One primary cardholder will receive one prize only.
  10. Announcement is made on 3 June 2019 via www.thaiairways.com and Thai Airways Facebook Page.
  11. The cardholders who receive the prize need to contact bkknsoffice@thaiairways.com; together with their valid identification documents upon claiming the prize within 17 June 2019. Otherwise, they will be deemed to have forfeited their prizes.
  12. The prize winners need to pay the withholding tax of 5% of the awarded tickets’ values when issuing the tickets.
  13. Other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are costs for the prize winner and are not provided as part of the prize.
  14. The winners shall make arrangement on the prize/trip 30 days prior to the trip. Otherwise, they will be deemed to have forfeited their prizes.
  15. THAI will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any prize winner or their guest (if applicable).
  16. THAI reserves the rights to withdraw this offer or amend these Terms and Conditions upon the occurrence of an event of force majeure.
  17. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the promotion, whether successful or not, THAI reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  18. All decisions made by THAI relating to this promotion will be deemed final.
  19. Employees of THAI (either permanent or contractual ones), its partners and their respective subsidiaries and third party companies associated with this promotion including their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity are ineligible to join this promotion.
