    1. Escort Dogs (Assistance for Blind or Deaf Passengers)

Escort dogs, such as guide dogs for blind passengers or hearing dogs for deaf passengers, are allowed on all THAI flights free of charge. These dogs provide critical assistance to passengers with visual or hearing impairments and must remain with the passenger throughout the flight.

    2. Service/Assistance Dogs

Service or assistance dogs that help passengers with disabilities (such as seizure detection, managing heart conditions, or assisting with diabetes control) are permitted to travel at no charge only on flights operating:
    • To/from Europe under EU law
    • To/from the US under US DOT regulations (14CFR Part 382)
    • Requirements:
      • It is recommended that service dogs wear a harness.
      • If the flight exceeds 8 hours, THAI may require documentation or certification stating that the dog will not need to relieve itself on board or that the dog will not cause sanitation issues or pose a hazard to other passengers.
These dogs must provide services to the disabled passenger and be under their control at all times.

    3. Emotional Support Dogs

Emotional support dogs are allowed only on flights operating between Bangkok (BKK) and Los Angeles (LAX) free of charge, as per US DOT regulations (14CFR Part 382).
